State Sen. Rebekah Warren, D-Ann Arbor, and Rep. Gretchen Driskell, D-Saline, are inviting members of the public, including business owners, to come learn more about the Affordable Care Act and specifically some of the benefits available.
“The event will allow business owners, hourly employees who work for smaller employers, and others the opportunity to ask questions about how to optimize their benefits under the Affordable Care Act,” the event announcement states.
The event, titled “The Affordable Care Act and Its Impact on Individuals and the Business Community,” is schedule from 6-8 p.m. inside the atrium conference room at Chelsea Community Hospital, 775 S. Main St,, Chelsea.
Joining the two Washtenaw County lawmakers in discussing the federal health care law will be:
- Kevin Sears, vice president of payer and product innovation for CHE Trinity Health
- Tina Grant, vice president of public policy and state advocacy for CHE Trinity Health
- Dustin Krasny from U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg’s office
- James Mitchiner, chairman of the Washtenaw County Medical Society Legislative Committee
