Join us for a non-partisan Community Election Education Forum aimed at helping residents understand the voting process and key local ballot initiatives. This free event is designed to empower voters by providing essential information about how to participate in upcoming elections and make informed decisions.

There will be two sessions, each hosted at the Washtenaw Community College’s Morris Lawrence Building. The morning session will be hosted from 11am – 3pm and the evening session will be hosted from 5 – 9pm.

What to Expect: Hosted in a exhibition format, you will be able to attend mini-presentations that cover important topics like:

  • An overview on how local millages work and current millage initiatives on the ballot this November.
  • Tools and resources to find sample ballots, participating on election day, and how to manage effects that elections have on mental health.
  • Opportunities for Q&A with community leaders and non-partisan experts.
