Healthy Aging Collaborative Transportation Summit

Join the Washtenaw County Healthy Aging Collaborative for a convening of stakeholders and community leaders to discuss closing gaps for access & availability in the senior transportation sector for Washtenaw County. 

This summit will convene stakeholders with interests in aging and from the transportation sector to examine the challenges of accessibility, availability, and affordability of senior transportation services in Washtenaw County. The purpose of this meeting is to bring stakeholders together to champion solutions and create more equitable transportation options in Washtenaw County.

Summit speakers include Dale Berry, co-chair of the Washtenaw County Healthy Aging Collaborative, Matt Carpenter, chief executive officer of the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA), Sue Ann Savas, program evaluation consultant at the University of Michigan School of Social WorkKate Schramm, director of programs and partnerships at Feonix Mobility Rising, and others. Facilitated discussions will follow each presentation.

About the Healthy Aging Collaborative:

The Washtenaw Healthy Aging Collaborative (WHAC) is a cross-sector collaborative that will support systems-level changes to promote age-friendly practices. Under the umbrella of the Washtenaw Health Initiative, the WHAC’s primary focus is to improve the health, health equity, healthcare, and services for older and aging adults.
