Deana Smith is CHRT’s associate director of community initiatives. She is responsible for providing project management support to community-based collaborative initiatives. She also provides analytic support with a focus on the intersection of health care and supportive human services, with an emphasis on aging research and policy issues.
Prior to joining CHRT, Deana held several leadership positions in the non-profit and behavioral health sectors. She has more than 20 years of experience as a manager and director.
Deana holds a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, both from the University of Michigan. She is also a licensed clinical social worker.
