Megan Foster Friedman, CHRT staff representative to the Washtenaw Health Initiative’s Medicaid and Marketplace Outreach and Enrollment Work Group,  spoke at the spring conference of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Planning and Marketing (MSHPM). The organization includes marketing representatives and strategic planners for Michigan-based hospitals, physician practices, and health plans.

Foster Friedman’s presentation, The State of Health Care in 2019: A Look at Health Policy in Michigan and Beyond, provided an overview of the progress that has been made in enrolling Healthy Michigan members as well as a preview of state and national legislation with possible implications for the coming year.

If you know of a group that would benefit from this kind of presentation, please reach out to Erin Spanier, CHRT’s communications manager, at espanier@umich.edu
